The Richland Center girls softball team were winners 8-2 over River Valley. The Hornets never trailed after scoring 2 runs in the first inning. They added to the lead and were up 8-0 before the Blackhawks scored 2 in the 7th inning.
Kyree Fischer was the winning pitcher while the team had key contributions at the plate. Raygen Schoepp helped with 2 early rbis. Brooklyn Stokes suffered the pitching loss. It was the Hornets second win of the season over the Blackhawks as the second half of the league schedule got underway.
Adam Hess has been involved in radio broadcasting since 1990, with many of those years spent on the air at WRCO FM in Richland Center.
