
A domestic incident in Muscoda resulted in two arrests. Sunday night (January 11) at approximately 8:20, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center was notified of an incident in the Village of Muscoda, where an individual was potentially stabbed.
Grant County deputies, along with deputies from Iowa and Richland counties were also dispatched to the scene. Deputies located a 44-year-old male at an address on Wisconsin Avenue, with a wound to his head and a significant cut to his left hand. The individual was treated on scene and ultimately transported to the Richland Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries by Muscoda EMS.
During the investigation, it was discovered that a disagreement between roommates, led to his injuries.
As a result, Suyuapa Ponce, 43 of Muscoda, and Juan Argenal-Arteaga, 33 from Muscoda, were arrested and booked into the Grant County Jail for Domestic Battery. The investigation continues and additional charges could be filed.
