Its homecoming week at River Valley

SPRING GREEN, WIS (WRCO / WRCE) – This week is Homecoming Week in the River Valley School District.

This year’s theme is “Rio de Janeiro.” From spirited dress-up days to exciting sporting events and community celebrations, there’s something for everyone. Tomorrow night (Thursday) will feature the Girl’s Volleyball teams facing Platteville starting at 4:45. The Boy’s Soccer teams will take on Platteville beginning at 5:00p. Then at 8:00p will be the Homecoming Pep Rally at the Junior High/High School.

Friday’s (September 26) events start in the morning with the School Fair at 8:00a. At the fair there will be many activities for all ages to enjoy, including games.

There will be a Livestock Auction at Noon, the Homecoming Parade steps-off in downtown Spring Green at 3:00p and then River Valley battles Richland Center in the Homecoming Football Game at 7:00p.

Homecoming Week wraps-up on Saturday (September 27) night with the Homecoming Dance at 7:00p.
