MUSCODA, Wis (WRCO) – The Riverdale Chieftains defeated La Farge 9-0 in game one on Friday night.
Freshmen Eli Campbell would pitch a complete game shutout striking out 12 and allowing just three hits.
Chase Chitwood, Bevyn Dennis, Talan Childs, and Owen Blankenship each collected two hits.
In Game Two the Chieftains lost an exciting high school game to the State’s #1 Ranked team Seneca by the score of 4-3.
Ethan Kagel pitched a strong game for Riverdale, while Eli Campbell would collect two hits.
The WIAA Baseball playoffs begin Thursday May 29. Seneca has a first round bye, by obtaining a number one seed.
Riverdale, a number 9 seed, travels to face-off against 8th seeded Lancaster.
