Congressman Van Orden introduces bill to impeach judge
Wisconsin Congressman Derrick Van Orden has filed for the impeachment of a federal judge who issued a preliminary injunction against Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency.
The injunction stems from a lawsuit filed by Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul and other states to stop the group from accessing sensitive Treasury records, including social security numbers.
Musk called for Judge Paul Engelmayer’s impeachment the day after the injunction was issued, and on Tuesday Congressman Van Orden introduced the bill.
