The Richland Center football team started the 2025 campaign with a 47-8 win over visiting Viroqua. The game was close in the first half. The Hornets were up 14-0 before Viroqua scored a safety and then scored a touchdown to make it 14-8. Richland Center then scored 33 unanswered points on the way to the non-conference victory.
