A somber start with a rundown of tragic news: Rob Reiner and his wife have been tragically killed, and chaos erupts at Bondi Beach in Australia. The Packers’ injuries and coaching woes take a backseat as the hosts discuss the relentless news cycle. A potential silver lining appears with bipartisan talks on tax cuts for the ACA. Health care’s woes resurface with insights from Jonathan Gruber on the need for universal coverage and price regulation. The episode lightens up with a local twist: the unveiling of a new mural in Madison’s east side celebrated for its artistic homage to Native American history and community spirit.
