Platteville won a 3 sets to 1 match over River Valley in volleyball action played during Thursday night activities at the Blackhawks homecoming night. The visitors won the opening set 25-14, before River Valley won its only set 25-20 in the 2nd. The Hillman won the 2nd and 3rd sets 25-17 to take the match.

 The Ithaca girls volleyball team won a Ridge and Valley conference match 3 sets to 1 on Tuesday night, September 23 at home over Weston.
