The Richland Center girls basketball team lost at Westby Friday night.  The Norse took the season opener 51-31 with a strong outside presence. The hosts hit six three pointers on the way to the 20-point win. They pulled away from a close score in the first half to lead 26-10 at the break. 

The River Valley girls basketball team won its second game of the week with Thursday nights 69-39 victory against visiting Potosi/Cassville.
