The Ithaca Bulldogs picked up a 9-0 win over Highland on Thursday, behind 14 strikeouts from Hewston Boland and a combined no-hitter from Boland and Caden Keller.
Hewston Boland also drove in a pair with a 2nd inning double. Boland, Isaiah Fargen, Brayden Byrnes, and Derek Franzen all pushed runs across the plate for Ithaca.
The Bulldogs should now host River Ridge on Tuesday June 2 at the Ithaca Baseball Complex. River Ridge got the win, 10-0, over Shullsburg-Benton.
Ithaca, now 17-6 overall, is a #4 seed and River Ridge, a #5 seed, is now 14 and 9 on the year. Highland’s year comes to an at 2 and 19.
