An informational meeting was held in the Richland County Boardroom last night, to discuss the future of the ambulance service. County Administrator Trish Clemens provided an overview of the history of the service, questions were asked about such things as how to handle uncollectible bills, and a target date of May 19 was set to make a decision on the future of the service.
The County issued a request for proposal for any interested third party providers, any bids that are received will be opened at the next meeting of the Executive Finance Committee.
