Richland Hospital and Clinics is pleased to welcome Rachel Munson, MD
The Richland Hospital and Clinics is pleased to welcome Rachel Munson, MD, who will be joining the organization as a resident physician seeing patients through May 14. Dr. Munson is a family physician dedicated to providing compassionate, direct patient care. A native of Milwaukee, she earned her undergraduate degree in Human Physiology and Psychology from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities before returning to Wisconsin to complete her medical education at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
During her time in Madison, she developed a strong passion for advocacy, working to advance reproductive justice, racial equity, and size inclusivity in medicine through student leadership roles and her involvement with the Wisconsin Medical Society Medical Student Section. She also volunteered with Special Olympics Wisconsin and MEDiC, UW’s student‑run free clinic. Drawn to family medicine for the opportunity to care for patients across the lifespan, Dr. Munson brings a holistic and community‑focused approach to her practice.
The Richland Hospital and Clinics looks forward to Dr. Munson’s contributions during her time with the organization and will continue welcoming additional residents as the year progresses.
