Benefit for Rick and Mary Oman to be held Saturday

The Buena Vista Lions Club invites you to a benefit for Rick & Mary Oman Saturday, April 4, from 4:00p to 8:00p at the Lone Rock Community Center. The evening will include food, music, and community spirit. Come hungry. A pulled pork dinner furnished by TKO will be available for $12 or just purchase a pulled pork sandwich for $7. Concessions and a bake sale will also be available for all your favorites. A chili cook off will also be held with a $5 donation fee for taste testing. Chili contestants should bring homemade chili in a slow cooker by 3:45p.

The evening will also feature a raffle, silent auction, a chili cook-off, and bake sale. A meat raffle will begin at 5:00p at the beer stand. A silent auction and raffle will be open until 7:00p. 

Live music will be provided by “Last Ride” featuring Doug Wallin. 

Donations for the raffles, silent auction, and bake sale are welcome. Donations may be dropped off at 32921 Wisconsin Street in Gotham before April 1 or at the Lone Rock Community Center on the day of the event from Noon to 3:30. Please include a description and estimated value with your items. Bakers, please label and price packages before donating.

Tax deductible monetary donations will also be welcome. For a tax deductible contribution, make checks out to Ithaca Lions Foundation.
