
Planning Commission service sought for Vernon County Residents
VERNON COUNTY, WIS. (WRCO / WRCE) The application deadline is approaching for Vernon County residents interested in serving on the Planning Commission.
Members will serve a two-year term, beginning in January, and will be responsible for implementation of the County’s Comprehensive Plan and development of farmland preservation, subdivision, and general zoning ordinance recommendations to the County Board. The planning commission will recommend amendments to the Comprehensive Plan as necessary. The commission is composed of four County Board supervisors and three community members appointed by the County Board Chair.

Letters of interest should be submitted no later than December 19.
