
DODGEVILLE, Wis. (WRCO / WRCE) – Around noon, a deputy from the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 151 near North Oak Park Road in the township of Mineral Point.
As a result of the traffic stop, Jeremiah W. Ennis, 46 of Janesville, was arrested for on a Probation Hold, Ignition interlock device Tampering/Fail to Install/Violate Court Order and Operate while Revoked.
Ennis was transported to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked on these charges and remains.
Just after 2 p.m., the Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a Motor Vehicle Accident with entrapment on Sneed Creek Road near High Point Road in the Township of Wyoming. Spring Green Fire Department, Spring Green EMS along with Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted at the scene. Upon arrival to the scene, it was found that there were no vehicles involved, but it was an accidental 911 dial from a cell phone. All units returned to the department.
And finally, at 4:15 p.m., the Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a two-car Motor Vehicle Accident on U.S. Highway 14 near the Village of Arena. Arena Fire Department, Arena EMS, as well as Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted at the scene. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
