3rd annual Pumpkinfest ripe with activities
RICHLAND CENTER, Wis. (WRCO / WRCE) – The Third Annual Pumpkinfest will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25 in Richland Center.
“Pumpkins on the Farm” is this year’s theme, which was submitted by this year’s theme contest winner Alaina Mueller, a fourth-grader at St. Mary’s School.

Pumpkinfest features a pumpkin decorating contest. Anyone who would like to enter the contest will have an opportunity to get a free pumpkin to decorate.
There are many different categories for pumpkin entries, which will be displayed on the Courthouse Lawn.
Suzanne Anderson is the creator and an organizer of Pumpkinfest; she encourages everyone to bring a pumpkin to enter and go on display.
All are invited to pick-up a free pumpkin and decorate it on Saturday Oct. 18, between 9 a.m. and noon at the Richland Center Fire Station. Entries can be dropped off Wednesday Oct. 22 from 3-6:30 p.m. at the Courthouse Lawn, and then they will be put on display for the Third Annual Pumpkinfest, which will be held Saturday, Oct. 25 in Richland Center.
You can register your Pumpkin online through Tuesday, Oct. 21 at PUMPKINFEST REGISTRATION.
You can also enter your pumpkin at the courthouse when you drop them off on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

Symons Recreation Complex will also be holding a WALK / RUN and pool party in conjunction with Pumpkinfest. The events will be held on Oct. 25 and Oct. 26.
