RICHLAND CENTER, Wis. (CIVIC MEDIA) – The UW-Richland Alumni recently announced the 2025 Outstanding Alumni. This year’s Outstanding Alumni class members included Richland Center native Todd Allbaugh, of Civic Media.
Todd not only attended UW-Richland, but he truly embraced what it meant to be a Roadrunner. While on campus, he was involved in theater, he served on the student senate, and was a member of the Central American Scholarship Program (CASP). CASP helped Todd form lifelong relationships and helped pave the way for nearly 40 trips to El Salvador.
While continuing his education at UW-Platteville, Todd majored in Broadcast Communications and Management. Allbaugh hosted a sports talk show on WSUP Radio while attending UW-Platteville.
NOT ALL TRIPS AND STUDIES
Todd found his passion for broadcasting even before he found his major at Platteville. He worked for his hometown radio station, WRCO FM, for 17 years. Todd got his start while still in high school, and credits former WRCO Owner Ron Fruit with providing the opportunity.
RICHLAND ROOTS RUN DEEP
Todd has also served on the Richland Center City Council and served as Executive Director of the Richland Center Chamber and Main Street Program.
Todd’s maternal grandmother, Marge Wallace, helped establish the UW-Richland Campus and went on to serve as the first female Dean of any UW System Campus.
TIME TO DIVE INTO THE POLITICAL ARENA
Todd held various roles at various times for two well-known Wisconsin Politicians, Dale Schultze and Scott Klug. Todd’s personal dive into politics included serving on the Richland Center City Council, helping his hometown move towards the future.
A MEMBER OF OUR BROADCAST FAMILY
Todd brought his many years of experience to the Civic Media broadcast family.
The Todd Allbaugh Show can be heard on many of the Civic Media Stations throughout the state of Wisconsin, and podcasts of his show can be found here.
