Mayville Man Dies in Fall at Ledge County Park

Despite their best-efforts Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies and first responders couldn’t save the life of a 21-year-old man who fell from some rocks at Ledge County Park.

About 12:30 Saturday afternoon the Sheriff’s Office got a report about a man who fell from rocks in the park and needed medical attention. He was located on the side of the ledge, not breathing and with a serious head injury.

CPR was performed and an AED was used. Paramedics and a medical helicopter also responded to the park; however, the man died at the scene.

He was in the company of two other people when he fell.
