Hail, floods Hit Wisconsin; live weather updates

MADISON, Wis (WSCM) – Hail is blanketing much of the state as severe storms rapidly sweep eastward.

UPDATE 5:04 P.M. – Severe flooding is affecting Chippewa Falls.

UPDATE 4:56 P.M. – Flurries of hail continue to pelt Madison and its surrounding areas. The storm continues to move southeast towards Janesville.

One to two-inch thick hail is coming down on Northwest Wisconsin, traveling southeast from Minnesota and striking Eau Claire, Rochester, La Crosse, Madison, and continuing south.
