The 11th annual Beat the Cabin Fever Dance was a huge success over the weekend. Perhaps the best yet. The James P & Michael Sullivan American Legion Post 383 Auxiliary hosted the event Saturday at the Lone Rock Community Hall to raise funds for the Vets Roll. The estimated cost to send a veteran on a trip is about $850 per veteran. Saturday’s event raised $47,000, with more funds still coming in. The funds will go toward sending more World War II and Vietnam Era Veterans to Washington, DC in May.
