Richland County Sheriff Clay Porter reports that the Richland County Sheriff’s Office was assigned two CyberTips as an affiliated member of the Wisconsin Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Taskforce for reported possession of child pornography. Monday (December 9) morning, at approximately 8:30, Deputies completed a search warrant as a result of this investigation.
Deputies took into custody, Talan G. Miller, 19 years old from Lone Rock, for three counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Felony Bail Jumping. At the time of this arrest, Miller was currently serving a Diversion Agreement for similar acts that generated a CyberTip in May 2023.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in this investigation by Wisconsin ICAC Taskforce, Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI)-Digital Evidence Unit (DEU), and Richland Center Police Department.
