A teen lost his life in a tractor accident in Grant County. The Sheriff’s Office received a call Friday afternoon around 3:25 regarding the accident at 8620 Irish Ridge Road, Cassville. The initial report was that a male had been trying to move a tree with a tractor and somehow, the tractor ended up on top of him. When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they found 17-year-old, Race Landon, who resided at the address deceased.
The reports shows Landon had been operating a Ford 8N tractor. While doing this, the front end of the tractor came up and the tractor went over, backwards, with Landon on it. The tractor came down on Landon, causing fatal injuries.
A family member who was coming to the house discovered the accident and called 9-1-1.
